Our Community Feeding Program exists to ensure vulnerable children receive the nourishment they need each day to grow, learn, and thrive. For many, this is the only nutritious meal they will eat that day. Too many children face the daily uncertainty of where their next meal will come from. Our mission is to change that.
A full stomach does more than satisfy hunger-it helps children concentrate in school, improves their health, gives them the energy to learn and play, and allows them to focus on building a brighter future instead of worrying about where their next meal will come from.
In partnership with Soweto Youth Initiative (SYI), we provide the resources needed to serve one fresh, nutritious meal to children every day. Meals are served at the same time each day, creating a dependable routine that provides consistency, stability, and hope. That stability allows children to focus on learning, growing, and simply being children.
By purchasing fresh produce from local vendors, our feeding program also helps strengthen the local economy creating hope that reaches far beyond the children we serve.

Be The Need Kids is our weekly children’s program held at SYI, where we share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with unchurched children in the community. Many come from difficult circumstances and have never experienced the love of a church family. For many, Be The Need Kids is their first opportunity to hear about Jesus and expererience His love.
Each week, children enjoy a safe, fun and loving enviornment where they play games, worship, learn Bible stories, and discover God’s love in a fun and meaningful way. Our prayer is that every child leaves knowing they are loved by God, valued, and created with a purpose.
Through God’s Word and caring mentors, we are helping to lay a foundation of faith that can impact generations. We believe investing in children today can transform families, strengthen communities, and change lives for eternity.

By meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of children, we are helping them discover hope, build lasting faith, and experience the life-changing love of Jesus Christ.
